Growth In Plus 10 Registrations

The Plus 10 Bonus Scheme, worth £5.5 million to its participants, has seen a 20% spike in registration of foals compared to this time last year. Almost 4,600 foals are currently entered into the scheme, good for 58% of the flat British and Irish foal crop.

“Strong support from breeders is integral to the scheme’s continued success and we are delighted with the show of support from British and Irish breeders in 2015,” said Plus 10 Committee Chairman Julian Richmond-Watson. “We look forward to this foal crop hitting the track in 2017 and breeders winning a share of the rich £5.5 million bonus prize pool. More immediately, we look forward to watching Plus 10 foals being sold over the next fortnight and a repeat of the action in 2014, when Plus 10 foals consistently sold for more money than non-plus 10 lots.”
